1. Exchange Policy

Q. When can an exchange be initiated?

A.You can exchange an item if you have received a faulty/defective product or a physically damaged item. You can also file for an exchange if the item is different from its description on the website.

 

Q. What happens if there a size or fit issue?

A. For sizing related issues, please read the Alteration Policy.

 

Q. How do I initiate an exchange?

A. If all aforementioned conditions are met, please mail your exchange claim at orders@purplepanchi.com with your order number, mobile number & reason for exchange. Please ensure that the product you return is unused, unworn and the original tags are intact.

Once our team approves the exchange request, you may ship the piece back to the following address. Alternatively, you could also request our Order Management Team for a reverse pick up at an additional charge of Rs.200 per pickup.

Q. How does a credit note work?

A. We will issue a credit note for the amount after deducting the reverse shipment charges (if any) of the product(s) that are being exchanged. The credit note will be mailed to you by our Order Management team within 3 working days of accepting your claim.

The expiry of a credit note is set to 2 months from the date of issue by default. You may use the credit note on all any product including the ones on sale.

 

Q. Does the Exchange Policy extend to Custom Tailored pieces also?

A. Custom Made garments cannot be returned unless they were received as damaged goods and we were unable to provide a replacement. Such items can only be altered or exchanged for the right size. Please go through Made to Measure section for more details.

2. Return Policy

Q. When can a return be initiated?

A. Since we follow a Made to Order Policy, we only start manufacturing once we receive your order. Therefore, we only accept returns incase of manufacturing defects.

Defects such as torn fabric, stained fabric, incorrect fabric, wrong prints, wrong color are considered manufacturing defects.

 

Q. Will there be any irregularities in the products?

A. The product may have slight irregularities in the motif and colors owing to the human involvement in the process and are the hallmark of a handcrafted product.

There may be variations in color and embellishment of the actual product against that as shown on the website. This is due to the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display outputs due to lighting, digital photography, color settings and capabilities of computer monitors.

Such instances should not be treated as a defect in the product.

 

Q. When can I NOT return an item?

Not all products are eligible for returns. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as keep our prices fair, many items are “Non Returnable” Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.

Q. How do I initiate a return?

Incase all aforementioned conditions are met, please mail your claim at orders@purplepanchi.comz with your order number & pictures of the defect. Please ensure that the product you return is unused, unworn and the original tags are intact.

Once our team approves the claim, we will get the damaged piece picked up within 5 working days. Post QC, we will issue a refund in a bank account of your choice within 10 working days.

Incase your claim is rejected, we will ship the piece back to you as is.

No Refunds will be entertained under the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect delivery address.
  • After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier.
  • The product returned is damaged due to use or misuse.
  • The product returned has a defect but has been used.

 

Q. How do Partial Refunds work?

A. In the case of multiple products being ordered, if for any reason whatsoever, Purple Panchi is unable to deliver a certain product/s, the customer shall be allowed to select an alternate product.

However, in case the customer does not wish to select any alternate product/s, Purple Panchi shall agree to either provide store credit to be used for future purchases or refund the amount for that particular product.

The decision to provide a refund lies at the sole discretion of Purple Panchi.

 

 

3. Alteration Policy

Q. How do I avail your FREE alterations service?

A. We provide 2 rounds of FREE alterations within 3 months of placing the order. Reverse shipment charges are borne by the buyer. We would charge Rs.200 for every reverse pickup request. Re-shipment charges are borne by us. Reshipment will only be done by Economy/Surface shipment service offered by various Courier companies.

 

Q. What happens if there a size or fit issue?

A. We recommend that you go through the size chart carefully before ordering. Your item will be altered/exchanged if there is a size or fit issue. Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for alterations before raising a request.

A. Our Alteration policy is not extended to International Orders. Please go through International Orders section for more details.

 

 

4. Reverse Pickup Service

Incase of Returns

We will initiate a revere pickup within 3 working days of accepting your claim. You will not be charged anything and the entire amount will be credited to your bank account within 10 working days.

 

Incase of Exchange/Alteration

Reverse shipment charges are borne by the buyer. We would charge Rs.200 for every reverse pickup request. Re-shipment charges are borne by us. Reshipment will only be done by Economy/Surface shipment by various courier companies.

 

Some Do’s & Dont’s for reverse shipping the product

  • Return/exchange items must be unused and unwashed for hygiene reasons; and returned with original packaging and tags in place. Items without tags will not be accepted.
  • Please make sure that the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. For all self-shipped returns, please use a reliable courier service.
  • Once your return is received by us, a quality check will be performed on the returned items by our quality team. This is subject to your return having met the requirements of being unused and unwashed, returned within 7-10 days of delivery.
